Tim Lane is the Creative Director of Penguin Books UK, overseeing the visual direction of Penguin's digital, video and branded output. He is responsible for the creative direction of Penguin's campaigns, as well as collaborating with the brand department to create a visual identity for Penguin. 

His award winning team, Penguin Creative, is made up of a design team (including UX), a photographer and a production team for Penguin's video output. Since Tim re-launched the Penguin YouTube channel in November 2019, subscribers have grown from 35K to over 115K.  Monthly channel views in November 2019 were 173K, they are now 2m.

 

An award winning Director, Illustrator and Designer, Tim has vast experience across digital, video, animation and print.

 

Previously, Tim was the Art Director of BuzzFeed UK and has also worked with Facebook, Twitter, Universal, ShortList, NME and many others.

Tim was a judge at the D&AD Awards in 2021.
